In 1986, I was in a Mac lab, in college, playing with Aldus Pagemeker, when a gentleman walked up behind me and asked if I would design a brochure for his chiropractic business. As I was turning to tell him that I had no idea what I was doing, he said he would pay me $300. Little did I know that the next words out of my mouth would change my life forever. “Absolutely, I can do that for you.” Needless to say I spent time in the library researching how to design a brochure. With that successful venture my career in graphic design was born. Since then, I have worked at a newspaper, interactive web company, advertising agency and now teach graphic design at the high school and college level. I also do freelance work for a few comic book companies in the valley. I am very passionate about graphic design and enjoy new challenges. I can easily adapt to clients' needs and formulate a plan to take their designs to the next level.
